Can't get the exact quotes but two things I have noticed being said recently, or words similar, are :
"we have reached a permanently high plateau"
I believe said by Phillip Fisher around September 1929, he actually went on to make a lot of money after the crash as did his son Ken Fisher who died just recently.
"We are in a new paradigm"
Heard many times around 1999 to describe the way dot.com companies endlessly went up in value without a viable business model to support them.
